Terms and Conditions of Sale
1. General Terms
1.1. These Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) apply to all bookings, purchases and transactions made directly with MHF Holdings Ltd, trading as Millington Hall Farm (“we”, “us”, “our”).
1.2. These Terms do not apply to purchases made through third-party partners or websites linked from ours. Where you buy through another provider, your contract will be with them and their terms will apply.
1.3. We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order or booking will apply to that transaction.
2. Definitions
In these Terms, the following words and phrases have the following meanings:
“MHF”, “we”, “us” or “our” means MHF Holdings Ltd, trading as Millington Hall Farm, including our employees, agents and authorised representatives.
“You” or “your” means the individual or organisation placing an order, making a Booking or otherwise dealing with us.
“Website” means our official website at www.millingtonhall.com and any related subdomains operated by us.
“Order” means any confirmed purchase, Ticket Booking, Glamping Booking, Camping Booking or request for Goods or services you make with us, whether online, by phone, or in person.
“Ticket Booking” means any confirmed reservation or purchase for attendance or participation in an event, class, course, experience, or other organised activity provided by us.
“Glamping Booking” means any confirmed reservation or purchase for overnight accommodation, specifically advertised as a ‘Glamping’ reservation or stay.
“Camping Booking” means any confirmed reservation or purchase for overnight accommodation using your own tent, campervan or similar camping arrangement on our premises, where only a pitch or basic facilities are provided.
“Goods” means any physical item we sell, including food, drink (including alcohol), merchandise, or other retail items.
“Voucher” means any physical or electronic voucher, gift card or promotional code issued by us that can be redeemed for qualifying Goods, services or Bookings.
“Confirmation Email” means the email we send to confirm acceptance of your order or booking, at which point a binding contract is formed.
“Business Day” means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in England.
“Force Majeure Event” means an event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control that prevents us from performing our obligations, such as extreme weather, strikes, power failure, fire, flood, or government restrictions.
3. Orders and Contract Formation
3.1. When you place an Order with us, you are asking us to confirm a Ticket Booking, Glamping Booking, Camping Booking, and/or purchase of Goods in line with these Terms.
3.2. A contract is formed only when we send you a Confirmation Email. Until then, we may decline or refund any Order for reasonable reasons such as unavailability, payment failure or pricing error.
4. Prices and Payment
4.1. All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
4.2. Full payment is taken when you place your Order. Your Order is not confirmed until payment clears and you receive a Confirmation Email.
4.3. We may correct genuine pricing or description errors and refund any affected Order.
4.4. By paying, you confirm you have authority to use the chosen payment method and, if buying alcohol, that you are over 18.
5. Ticket Bookings
5.1. A Ticket Booking gives you entry or participation for the specific event, class, course, experience or activity named in your Confirmation Email.
5.2. Cancellations and Changes

All Ticket Bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.

You may request to transfer your booking to another date or name if we receive at least 14 days’ notice before the event, subject to availability.

If we can reschedule you, an administration fee may apply.

Booking and transaction fees are non-refundable in all circumstances.
5.3. Event Changes or Cancellation by Us

We may cancel or change an event, experience, class or other on-site activity due to reasons beyond our control (for example, safety concerns, illness, or adverse weather).

If we cancel, we’ll offer you a transfer, credit, or refund of the ticket price paid (excluding booking fees).

We’re not responsible for any additional costs such as travel or accommodation.
5.4. Admission and Conduct

Entry is only permitted with a valid ticket or confirmation in your name.

We may refuse admission or remove anyone who is intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, behaves abusively, poses a safety risk, or fails to follow reasonable instructions from our team.

Security checks may be carried out if necessary for safety.
5.5. Weather
Events may take place outdoors and will go ahead in most weather conditions unless deemed unsafe. Refunds will not be issued for poor weather. Please come suitably dressed.
5.6. Safety and Liability

You take part at your own risk and must follow all health and safety instructions.

We’re not responsible for loss, damage, injury or death unless caused by our negligence and the outcome was reasonably foreseeable.

We’re not liable for the actions or omissions of third-party instructors, suppliers or demonstrators.
5.7. Personal Property
We don’t accept responsibility for theft, loss of or damage to personal belongings brought to our events.
5.8. Photography and Media
Events may be filmed or photographed for security or promotional purposes. By attending, you agree to appear in such material without payment.
5.9. Late Arrival
We’ll try to admit latecomers where possible but cannot guarantee entry after the start time.
5.10. Age Restrictions
Attendees under 18 may be restricted from certain activities or alcohol service. Proof of age may be required.
5.11 MHF is not liable for allergic reactions, accessibility issues, or other adverse outcomes resulting from undeclared allergies, inaccurate information, failure to notify us of access requirements, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
5.12 The site is primarily outdoors and may include uneven ground, natural terrain and variable conditions. By booking, you acknowledge and accept that this environment may not be fully accessible and that MHF is not required to make unreasonable alterations to the landscape or facilities.
6. Glamping Bookings
6.1. A Glamping Booking gives you the right to occupy the accommodation named in your Confirmation Email for the dates stated.
6.2. Cancellations and Changes

All Glamping Bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.

You may request to transfer your booking to another date or name if we receive at least 28 days’ notice, subject to availability.

Where rescheduling is possible, an administration fee may apply.

Booking and transaction fees are non-refundable in all circumstances.
6.3. Cancellations by Us

We may cancel or change your stay for reasons beyond our control, such as safety concerns or damage to the accommodation.

If we cancel, we’ll offer a transfer, credit, or refund of the booking price paid (excluding booking fees).

We’re not responsible for additional costs such as travel or third-party accommodation.
6.4. Check-In and Check-Out

Times are shown in your Confirmation Email and must be observed.

Early arrival or late departure may not be possible and may incur extra charges.
6.5. Guest Conduct and Noise

You agree to respect other guests, neighbours, our team, wildlife and the surroundings.
-
No disturbance, nuisance or antisocial behaviour is permitted at any time.
-
Quiet hours may apply; please observe any posted rules.
6.6. Occupancy Limits
Each unit has a maximum occupancy shown in your Confirmation Email. Additional guests, tents or structures are not permitted without prior written agreement.
6.7. Pets
Pets are only permitted by prior arrangement and must be kept under control at all times. You’re responsible for any damage or disturbance caused by your pet.
6.8. Smoking and Vaping
Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside accommodation units. Please use designated outdoor areas and dispose of waste responsibly.
6.9. Damage and Cleanliness

You’re responsible for any damage, loss or excessive cleaning required after your stay.

We may charge reasonable costs for repair or replacement.

Please leave your accommodation and communal areas tidy.
6.10. Facilities and Safety

Facilities are for registered guests only.

You must follow all safety information and instructions from our team.

Fires, barbecues or stoves may only be used in designated areas and under safe conditions.
6.11. Weather and Force Majeure
Glamping Bookings take place outdoors and proceed in most weather unless conditions are unsafe. Refunds are not offered for poor weather.
6.12. Liability
We’re not responsible for loss, damage, injury or death unless caused by our negligence and the outcome was reasonably foreseeable. Clauses 5.11 and 5.12 also apply to Glamping Bookings.
6.13. Personal Property
We don’t accept responsibility for loss of or damage to personal belongings brought to our site.
6.14 Breach of Terms
MHF may refuse entry or require you to leave the site immediately, without refund, if you breach any of the stated Glamping terms, behave unsafely, or cause damage or disturbance. You will be responsible for any damage, loss or additional cleaning caused by you or your group, and MHF may recover reasonable costs for repairs or remedial work. MHF also reserves the right to refuse future bookings where serious or repeated breaches occur.
7. Camping Bookings
7.1. Camping Bookings are only available in connection with specific events or community gatherings organised by us and are provided as temporary facilities for attendees.
7.2. Campers must follow all site instructions from MHF staff and remain within designated camping areas. Access to other parts of the farm or adjoining land is strictly prohibited.
7.3. You agree to respect other guests, neighbours, our staff, wildlife and the surroundings. Noise, disturbance or antisocial behaviour is not permitted at any time.
7.4. Fires and barbecues are only permitted in designated areas and must be used safely and responsibly. You must comply with any safety directions or restrictions in place at the time.
7.5. Each camping pitch or area must be left clean and tidy. You are responsible for removing all tents, equipment, waste and personal items at the end of your stay. There are no facilities for emptying sewage waste on site and this must be transported off site at check-out.
7.6. Breach of Terms
MHF may refuse entry or require you to leave the site immediately, without refund, if you breach these terms, behave unsafely, or cause damage or disturbance. You will be responsible for any damage, loss or additional cleaning caused by you or your group, and MHF may recover reasonable costs for repairs or remedial work. MHF also reserves the right to refuse future bookings where serious or repeated breaches occur.
7.7. Camping is undertaken entirely at your own risk. MHF is not responsible for loss, damage, injury or death unless caused by its negligence and the outcome was reasonably foreseeable. Clauses 5.11 and 5.12 also apply to Camping Bookings.
8. Sale of Goods
8.1. Scope
This section applies to all purchases of food, drink, alcohol, gifts or other retail Goods from us, whether made online, on-site or at events.
Some Goods are manufactured, packaged or shipped by approved third-party suppliers on our behalf, but your purchase and contract of sale are with us.
8.2. Prices and Payment

All prices include VAT where applicable.

Full payment is due at the time of ordering.

We may correct genuine pricing or description errors and refund any affected Order.
8.3. Alcohol Sales

Alcohol is sold only to persons aged 18 or over. We operate a “Challenge 25” policy and may request proof of age before sale, collection or delivery.

We may refuse or cancel any alcohol sale if age cannot be verified.
8.4. Delivery and Third-Party Fulfilment
Some Goods are supplied or dispatched directly from trusted third-party partners on our behalf.
We make every reasonable effort to dispatch within estimated timeframes, but delays can occur due to stock or courier issues.
If dispatch or delivery is delayed, we will notify you as soon as possible.
We are not liable for indirect loss caused by delay, but if delivery cannot be made within 30 days of your Order, you may cancel it for a full refund.
8.5. Faulty Goods
If any Goods are faulty or not as described, please contact us within a reasonable time and we will repair, replace or refund in accordance with your statutory rights.
Returns of Perishable Goods
8.6. Due to health and hygiene reasons, perishable or opened food and drink items cannot be returned or refunded unless faulty.
8.7. Please inspect perishable Goods immediately on receipt and contact us within 24 hours of confirmed delivery or collection if any item is damaged, missing or not as described.
8.8. We cannot accept claims made after this period or for items that have not been stored or handled correctly after delivery.
Returns of Non-Perishable Goods
8.9. If you change your mind about non-perishable Goods, you may return them within 28 days of delivery for a refund.
8.10. Returned Goods must be unused, in their original packaging and accompanied by proof of purchase.
8.11. You are responsible for the cost and safe return of the Goods, and we recommend obtaining proof of postage.
8.12. We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned Goods, minus any reduction for damage, use, or missing packaging that affects resale condition.
8.13. Refunds cover the basic delivery charge only; any express or premium shipping fees are non-refundable.
Liability and Safety
8.14. Please follow all storage, cooking and consumption instructions provided with any Goods.
8.15. MHF is not responsible for illness, injury, deterioration or loss resulting from improper storage or handling after collection or delivery.
8.16. Except where death or personal injury results from our negligence, MHF’s liability for any Goods is limited to the amount paid for those Goods.
9. Voucher Terms (including Gift Cards)
9.1. Scope
This section applies to all gift cards, e-vouchers, and promotional codes issued or sold by us.
9.2. Purchase and Redemption

Vouchers can be purchased online or on-site and may be redeemed against eligible Goods or Bookings, as specified at the time of issue.

Each Voucher has a unique code that must be entered at checkout or presented at the time of use.

Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, replaced if lost, or resold without our written permission.
9.3. Validity

Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.

Expired Vouchers cannot be redeemed or extended.
9.4. Non-Refundable
Once purchased, Vouchers are non-refundable. They may, however, be transferred to another person with our consent.
9.5. Promotional Codes

Promotional codes are issued at our discretion and may be withdrawn or amended at any time.

They cannot be used in combination with other offers or discounts unless specifically stated.

No cash alternative will be offered for any promotional code.
9.6. Faults or Errors
If a Voucher code fails to function or there is an error in its issue or redemption, please contact us promptly at [email protected] so that we can investigate.
10. Community Events, Deposits and Donations
10.1. Scope
This section applies to free or low-cost community events organised by MHF Holdings Ltd, trading as Millington Hall Farm (“MHF”), including any events where a refundable or non-refundable deposit or voluntary donation is taken.
10.2. Deposits

A deposit may be required to secure your place.

Deposits are non-refundable if you do not attend or cancel your place.
-
If MHF cancels the event, deposits will be refunded in full.
-
Deposits may be credited against purchases, refreshments or future events at our discretion.
10.3. Donations
-
Donations are entirely voluntary and non-refundable once made.
-
Donations do not guarantee entry or reserved places unless stated otherwise.
-
MHF will use donations to help cover event or community costs but does not operate as a registered charity.
10.4. Liability and Conduct
Attendance at community events is at your own risk. You must follow all reasonable safety and conduct instructions from MHF staff.
MHF may refuse entry or ask anyone to leave for behaviour that is unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful to others.
11. General Legal Terms
11.1. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes MHF’s liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
Otherwise, MHF’s total liability to you in connection with any Order, Booking, or purchase of Goods will not exceed the total amount paid by you for that Order.
MHF is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including travel or accommodation costs, loss of enjoyment, or wasted expenditure.
11.2. Force Majeure
MHF is not responsible for any failure or delay in performing its obligations caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, fire, flood, pandemic, government restrictions, strikes, or power failure.
11.3. Communications
You agree that we may contact you by email or text message for purposes relating to your Order or Booking. Notices will be treated as received once sent to the contact details you provided.
11.4. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and MHF and replace any prior written or verbal agreements about the same subject matter.
11.5. Severance
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply in full.
11.6. Assignment
Your rights under these Terms are personal to you and may not be transferred or assigned to another person without our written consent.
11.7. No Third-Party Rights
These Terms do not create any rights enforceable by anyone other than you and MHF.
11.8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
